- White lines – Free parking. These are first-come, first-served and can fill up quickly, especially near beaches and popular tourist spots.

- Yellow lines or kerbs – No parking. A solid yellow line means you risk a fine or towing. Broken yellow lines mark areas like bus stops, taxi ranks, or loading zones.
